February 7, 2011 - Sunset from the office.

Noticed a very nice sunset from my office today.... well not my office but the one next to me that has a window. Nice light streaks, o yeah and a photo of a bird against a really colourful cloud.

December 5, 2010 - Beach photos and random fly

Today was pretty good. Had another craigslist contact shoot which is always fun! Thanks you guys, it was a blast! Also had an interesting macro shot of a fly on a window which actually turned out much better then I had hoped.

December 3, 2010 - Evening concert

Had fun at evening concert. didn't have enough lighting or effort to wonder around and get some shots of the singers so instead i grabbed a few shots at f/1.4 of some graffiti on the street on my way home past hastings/nanaimo. Pretty good considering one is done at 1/5 of a second. Since I shoot them in RAW it was very easy to do some white balance correction.

December 2, 2010 - Alaska photo

Not taken today i am afraid.

Finally getting around to looking at some old photos. This one is on my emergency evacuation from Russia to the Alaska regional hospital. View is out of the medical jet. Pretty nice way to travel... but a little on the expensive side.

Edit - This is a photo of the last gas station that we encountered on our way to site. It is called Bell 2 and it is a heliski departure point. Sweet gas station.

Worked my first night shift after being up all day previously, too tired to upload photo I took and will try to catch up later.
