Merry Christmas (delayed)

After a rather fast arrival and depature we had our annual christmas stuff. A bit of a flu or "nasal drip" infected the parental units which put a damper on the activities but just hanging out with the whole family again gave me a very festive happy holiday.

Snow snow snow... and December

The time has come to start exam prep. Also it decided to snow for the first time in like ever. Earliest ive ever seen snow in BC, usually get a bit in early to mid january. pretty good id say. Finally done courses, and can take my time to study the material instead of doing STUPID HYDROLOGY labs. sigh/rage. Snow makes me happy and calms me down (also smashing rocks/big snowballs also is a great release for rage if any of you cared).

Christmas is coming...

As the end of nov approaches school winds down and its time for study mode. Good old days at the library. The first sight of christmas has started to appear, lights, commercials, and christmas trees. I am a big fan of the christmas lights on many things however, i am not a fan when people put up 'half-hearted' light displays that say "i want to have lights but no effort to put them up". IE - some of the shops on 10th between my house and UBC. No effort = pointless.

Didnt have anything to do on a friday night so i talked to heather and she decided that we should go downtown. we went for a walk at yaletown which was fun, and i got to rant about how STUPID todays fashion trends are to someone.

November 1st, snow begins to fall

Tried to capture the weather in a photo. Rain. However all this rain is snow in the locals, 25cm mid mountain at cypress and Mt Baker has an amazing 40 inches in some places already!

The end of midterms

Ah yes, the end of midterms, time to slack off for a while before studying for finals. I am anxious about getting on my snowboard and upto whistler, it opens on the 24th of november. just wrote my econ midterm. went well. hurray.
